Leos and Lions members all over the nation gathered for a forum which aimed to have everyone to conduct service projects, share out ideas to improve the next fiscal year, and celebrate the fiscal year’s achievement. 11 members from Leo Club of KDU had the opportunity to attend the 46th MD Leo Forum 2019 which was held in Johor Bahru.

Lion Michelle Mok Shiau Ping, District Governor of District 308 B1 has expressed her utmost gratitude towards Leo Bernard Tang Yunn Horng with a special DG Youth Empowerment award. This year, there was over 800 Leos joined this forum, meanwhile 4 of them were chosen to receive the award with a high criteria whom have shown dedication in their leadership and compassion towards serving the community. District Governor Michelle has also given special appreciation towards 5 Leos from Leo Club of KDU PJ.

Leo Lee Chun Lian and Leo Karmen Yee Chai Nyie both joined the ‘Who Is Talent King Competition’ as duo, performed a cover of Ed Sheeran’s song titled Perfect during Fellowship Night and participants were allowed to vote for their favourite by placing a sticker on a sheet outside of the hall.

Leo Lee Qian Hui, an organiser and chairperson for forum forum, came out with the theme of ‘JHB’. She said “By joining Leo members and Lions makes the bonding and enhance with another relationship. Where else, humanity is part of us to encourage and to bring out each and everyone’s ideas on compassion towards the community. Balance is the most important as it is the strength of the leaders and the cooperation between all members.”

11 Leos from Leo Club of KDU had the wonderful experience of a lifetime to be able to participate in an event to this scale. This event opened the eyes of many participants, especially those whom were first-timers, it encouraged them to work harder for bigger achievements.
