ADP LAXUS’ Independence Day Barbecue 2018

American Degree Transfer Program’s LAXUS Club successfully hosted an annual celebration in conjunction with United States of America Independence Day on 5th July 2018 at KDU (DJ) campus. This celebration took part an effort to bring American culture experience to KDU’s staffs and students. 
 
Alethea Choo Yee who is LAXUS Club’s president began with an opening speech expressed her sincere gratitude to those who attend the celebration. She hoped everyone enjoyed the activities that has been planned for the rest of the night.
 
The barbeque session start while that there is performance by the LAXUS Club’s alumni, Syakirah and Khaira. The performance was a gracious enough to lend their talents with their singing skills. They performed as duo and individually with a total 6 songs.
 
Between sets of performances, LAXUS Club managed to invite another three of their alumni hosted a sharing session in which discussed their experienced as foreign students studied in West. Jen Juan, Jeremy, and Azfar did a brilliant job by entertaining the crowd as they confidently narrated several interesting accounts of anecdotes as well as giving a few personal tips on how to make the best out of one’s study experience while in another part of the world.
 
There were a games prepared for the night which is Twister and Limbo. It began with a performances with rowdy cheers from the onlookers as more and more participants poured in to compete with each other in a show of physical resilience.
 
The night ended with a photo session. They enjoyed the barbeque night and together with the performances.
