The Amazing Race 2018 for the Future College Students

Not only it had tested one’s intelligence quotients, bravery and abilities in respond and act fast, but what far more important was, it tried out the potential of how one work with others in achieving the same goal!



This was what over two hundreds of high schools students from around Klang Valley and Ipoh had experienced, after they participated in a grand station games event organised by KDU University College on the 31st March 2018.



Held at KDU’s flagship campus at Utropolis Glenmarie, a flock of young students of 12 secondary schools from Klang Valley and 2 schools from Ipoh, enjoyed the excitement by exploring one station after another and participated games that designed by different Schools in KDU.



The event saw beaming faces, hearty laughter, excited shouts and strong momentum filled up the campus, portrayed by these youthful participants, who grouped themselves into 24 teams, enjoyed the game to the optimal level, by utilizing state-of-the-art facilities in the campus.



Finally, for teams that portrayed strong teamwork, leadership and creative thinking, had emerged as overall winners and won a significant amount of cash prize as rewards. The winners’ list is as follows –



Champion – SMK Seafield (won by ‘Sodium Hydroxide’ team and walked away RM2000 cash prize)



1st Runner-Up – SMK Sam Tet (won by ‘Gong Xi Fa Cai’ team with RM1500 cash prize)



 2nd Runner-Up – SMK Taman Sea (won by ‘Akatsuki’ team with RM1000 cash prize).



After all, this one-day-event was just a glimpse of college life for undergraduates-of-the-future, who will sit for their SPM examination this year end. KDU wishing you All the Best, young guys!
