It was a full house for the industry sharing session with Haniff Hamzah from ERA’s JoHaRa Pagi show. It’s a wrapped, thanks for the fun and informative sharing session.

It was a fun and informative afternoon class for the Introduction to Radio Production and Introduction to Communication and Media students as they had a special guest from the radio broadcast industry to conduct the session.

The special guest turned out to be radio personality Haniff Hamzah from the ERA’s JoHaRa Pagi show, who happened to be one of the many KDU alumni that have gone on to achieve great things in their areas of expertise and interest.

During the session, not only Haniff shared some of the insights of the radio broadcast industry, he also shared with the students some of the behind-the-scene information on how to make a radio programme great and entertaining.

At the later part of the sharing session, he also shared with the students some of the do’s and don’ts of a radio announcer as well as his personal student life before enrolling at KDU.

“It was great coming back to KDU to share some of my life experience with my juniors here and I cannot wait to do it again,” he said on the sideline after the sharing session ended.

On what advise he may have for his KDU juniors who aspire to venture into the radio broadcast industry, Haniff said all they need to do is do well in their studies and always keep an eye out for work opportunities from media companies.

“Always stand out from the crowd by being productive. Get noticed because being in radio broadcast industry is not just about being the announcer, there is much more things to learn every day,” he added.
