KDU Bags 28 Awards Including The Most Prestigious ‘Worldchefs President Ambassador Liaison Asia Award’ At FHM Culinaire Malaysia 2017

Tracia Chan Qi Li, a Bachelor of Culinary Management (Hons), who majors in Culinary Operations, from the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts (SHTCA), KDU University College, had recently made everyone proud by clinching the ‘Worldchefs President Ambassador Liaison Asia Award’ during the championship prize giving dinner of FHM Culinaire Malaysia 2017, which was held on 29 September at Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre Hotel.
Overall, KDU’s participants for FHM Culinaire Malaysia 2017 - the country’s premier food and hospitality show, which spanned from 26 to 29 September at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, have managed to win 28 awards from different categories of the competition, including the said prestigious accolade by Tracia. The breakdown of the prizes tally are 1 gold medal, 7 silver medals, 4 bronze medals and 15 diplomas.
Tracia impressed the master chefs with her passion towards the industry, good learning attitude, well-spoken and most importantly her perseverance in achieving her goals. On top of that, she also won a silver medal in presenting the Latte Art.
