In ensuring graduating students gain and secure an internship or even a permanent job, the Student & Alumni Centre (SAC) of KDU University College, together with Career Tour and Malaysia's Largest In-Campus Job Fair, organised the inaugural Selangor Internship & Career Market Day 2017 held on 22 March.

The fair was open to public as well as all tertiary education students in Selangor. More than 900 students from KDU, Sunway University College, Monash University, HELP University, KPJ Healthcare University College, Management and Science University, International Islamic University Malaysia attended the event.

There were over 35 organisations at the fair, from various industries such as IT, engineering, finance & banking and logistics, including brand names such as Maybank, RHB, myStarjob, City-Link Express, Damco Logistics, and many more.

Besides the career exhibition, the fair also set-up some interactive stations that had interesting games and prizes giveaways.

Alongside the fair, there were also three different talks for students to gain insights into education at KDU - “Hit the Ground Running with KDU” by Mr. Low Kim Keong (Lecturer, KDU School of Business), “Postgraduate Studies at KDU” by Dr. Tan Consilz (Senior Lecturer, KDU School of Business) and “Making Preparation after Graduation” by Ms. Jess Lee Chai Ling (Enrolment Services Manager, KDU). The talks clearly gave students the emphasis on the importance of their education and the preparation needed for after graduation.
