This year marks yet another remarkable milestone for KDU’s PAC as they celebrate the 6th anniversary of being awarded the platinum approved learning partner by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. In conjunction with the commemoration; the organiser also held a Chinese New Year celebration with all of the PAC community as a token of appreciation to all their hardships in making this success into a reality. On the 3 March 2018, KDU PAC hosted the exuberant event at KDU College Damansara Jaya in Petaling Jaya.

The primary objective of this wonderful occasion is to bring everyone together and look forward to many years of excellence that KDU PAC could bring for the institute. The event kicked off with an extremely scrumptious activity whereby all of the staffs, lecturers and students gathered outside of KDU auditorium to participate in the ceremonial and symbolic “Lou Yee Sang (Prosperity Toss)” hosted by the emcee of the day, Mr. Shaun. Many blessings were said as the Yee Sang was tossed higher and higher.

Following this, was a speech, from the Head of Academics of KDU PAC Mr. Chan who thanked everyone for the tedious effort put into reaching this anniversary of being the prestigious ACCA platinum learning partner for 6 years. On top of that, he also reminded every one of the arduous effort required ahead to ensure that success is well-maintained.

After that, the guests were ushered to the canteen while they feasted on a delectable spread of buffet food that was fit for a king. It was indeed a lion’s share for everyone as they dug into the delicious meal, the entertainment soon arrived. Miss Cindy of PAC had worked tirelessly to choreograph a dance together with PAC club committee members which were performed gracefully that day. The performance was welcomed with a thunderous roar of cheers and applause from the audience.

Before the event adjourned, Mr. Chan and Mr. Daniel had decided to present an “angpow” to everyone who was present. The angpow is a customary sign of prosperity, success and wealth, used as a good luck sign to ensure everyone works hand in hand to ensure that students pass their ACCA exams in the near future. A complimentary pen drive was also given to everyone spotted in traditional Chinese wear that day. The event ended with a bliss and everyone had enjoyed their time as they create another special moment in their life with KDU.
