KDU Showed Sequential Art Students At Comic Fiesta 2018

Comic Fiesta is one of Southeast Asia’s Largest and longest-running animation, comics and games (ACG) event since 2002. Ten thousands of comic artist, illustrators, cosplayers and fans of the culture every year. This year Comis Fiesta was held in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

Since its inception in 2002, the main Comic Fiesta in Klang Valley has grown into one of the biggest events of its kind in South-East Asia, and has become a must-go event for Malaysian illustrators, comic artists, cosplayers and fans.

KDU being a Gold Sponsor for this event where it has been given a booth where participants can take a snapshot in front of an attractive background designed by KDU’s lecturer.

A Game Showcase segment where student works can be showcased to the public to give them a glimpse of what they will achieve when they enrol at KDU. There will be a variety of student works and games from different semesters featured here. 

Lastly, we will have a main education booth where the KDU branding would be prominent. This booth would be manned by student helpers and lecturers who would be ready to explain and hand out promotional materials.

KDU offered a new course Diploma in Sequential Art. KDU University College also collaborating with the Japanese publishing conglomerate, KADOKAWA, the Diploma in Sequential Art was born in an effort to cultivate visual artists and story-tellers with a high work standard synonymous with the Japanese with a flair for localised Malaysian content.
