Take up the challenge of studying across a range of disciplines with the KDU Foundation in Arts programme. In preparation for a bachelor’s degree in the humanities stream, students will have an opportunities to be exposed to basic modules of various disciplines such as:

Entry Requirements
  • SPM / SPMV/ O Level :
Minimum 5 Credits (5Cs)*
  • UEC :
UEC Minimum 3 Credits (3Bs)*
  • Home Schooling with SAT :
Pass Year 11 and SAT score of 1600*
Any other qualifications deemed equivalent by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia (or as stated in the Document Senarai Nilai Taraf Kelayakan Akademik, Malaysian Qualifications Agency)Pass (Subject to review and approval of certified transcripts)
* In addition to the above mentioned requirements, students must fulfil the following requirements to continue in the degree programmes as listed below :
  1. Accounting/ Banking and Finance – SPM / GCE O-Level / UEC credit in Mathematics and a “Pass” in English; SAT minimum score of 550 for Mathematics; or a 60% score in Mathematics equivalent.
  2. Communication – SPM / GCE O-Level / UEC credit in English.
  3. Business – SPM / GCE O-Level / UEC Pass in Mathematics and English; SAT minimum score of 450 for Mathematics; or a 50% score in Mathematics and English equivalent.
  4. Game Art/ Game Design – SPM / GCE O-Level / UEC Pass in Mathematics; SAT minimum score of 450 for Mathematics; or a 50% score in Mathematics equivalent.

Students who do not have the above requirements, must seek advice from the school before enrolment.

In addition to the list above, English requirements for International/Local Students in terms of the Minimum Band score for MUET, IELTS, TOEFL and SPM / 1119 / O-Level English may also vary according to the respective programmes.
Local Student :                     Credit (SPM / 1119 / UEC / O-Level English) 
International Student :Band 5.0 in IELTS; or a min score of 35 (IBT) or 415 (PBT) in TOEFL
