The KDU Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a postgraduate programme that blends academic and professional knowledge, where learners are exposed to cutting-edge research and process of discovery and knowledge generation. The programme offers an international perspective for professionals to engage effectively in global environment as well as networking opportunities. Students are able to choose between two specialisation tracks; Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Financial Planning (FP).

Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is offered in collaboration with the Institute of Enterprise Risk Practitioners (IERP®), this MBA track is a postgraduate qualification that focuses on the area of Enterprise Risk Management.

Financial Planning (FP) focuses on the areas of financial planning and is catered to professionals that are seeking a postgraduate qualification in the area of Financial Planning.

For Enterprise Risk Management Specialization​
  • IERP® Enterprise Risk Manager Professional Certification* – Exempted from 6 modules out of 11 modules
  • Exempted from 13 CIMA papers and to take the balance 3 papers to complete the professional qualification

  • Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM) Certified Financial Planner (CFP)* Certification Education ProgramExempted from 3 modules out of 4 modules

ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT

Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is a postgraduate programme offered in collaboration with the Institute of Enterprise Risk Practitioners (IERP®). The ERM track is taught by ERM qualified industry practitioners which makes it the 1st programme in the World to have done so. The affiliation with IERP ensures ERM specialism curriculum focuses on practical and holistic aspects of enterprise risk management.

This ERM track offers graduates 6 modules exemptions out of 11 modules exemptions from the IERP®’s Enterprise Risk Manager Professional Certification for all relevant subjects* undertaken during the programme, as well as participation as a member at the IERP at a nominal fee.

FINANCIAL PLANNING

Financial Panning (FP) is an ongoing process to assist one in making sensible decisions about money that can help in achieving one’s goal in life. This FP track is taught by a team of qualified and experienced faculty members. The curriculum focuses on a broad range of financial planning skills that are the basics for any professionals that seeking such knowledge.

Entry Requirements
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONMINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENT
  • Bachelor Degree:
Completed with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or its equivalent qualifications.

Candidates without a minimum CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted with a min. of 5 years relevant working experience.
ENGLISH REQUIREMENT
Local Student :Band 5 in MUET
International Student :Band 6.0 in IELTS; or a min score of 60 (IBT) or 499 (PBT) in TOEFL; or score 50 and above for Pearson English Test
*If English language requirements are not fulfilled, additional English module(s) may be taken at KDU University College.
