BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING (HONS) IN MECHATRONICS ENGINEERING

KPT/JPS(PA 8097) 05/21

Geared To Meet the Surge of Innovation and Emergence of New Technologies.

The B. Eng (Hons) in Mechatronics Engineering is a multidisciplinary field of science that combines mechanical engineering, electronic, control and software design; especially to develop and control intelligent products, systems and processes.

The programme is suitable for students who have a creative mind and passion for understanding how things work, and are curious in solving all kind of (technical) problems when designing, building and managing controls and embedded systems, sensors, actuators and robotic systems.

This programme is designed to meet the surge of innovation and emergence of new technologies required by modern industries to sustain global competitiveness which makes mechatronic engineers as a hybrid graduate that are able to tackle a wide range of challenges in the industry.

KDU Mechatronics students have the unique prospect to gain hands-on experience in the integrated design of mechanical, electrical, and software systems. Students are also exposed to the real world as KDU established academic linkages with industry players for capstone project design, guest seminars, industrial enhancement skills as well as support for project-based learning and internship.
