About
Dr Praveena has been in the educational field for the past 9 years and have taught at various universities, institutes and learning centres. She has obtained her MEng in Mechanical Engineering and PhD (Materials and Structural Engineering) from the University of Malaya.

Her research area includes Advanced Materials (Nanocomposites and Green Material) and Structural Biomimetics.  Currently, Dr Praveena is a lecturer in the School of Engineering.

Dr Praveena is an active researcher, and has managed to produce a good number of international ISI top-tier-ranked journals and conference proceedings throughout her career in the academic field. Her current research area includes green material synthesis and application and 3D printed prosthetics.
